终于脱离了每天去公共机房的日子（虽然公共机房也满爽的，坐电梯就到，屏幕更大，硬盘更大）。

说实话这次对Sansom package room和IBM开始都挺失望的，机子down了后，和蓝快联系，其实5天就回来了，可是收发室一直没通知我，半个月后实在忍不住问了IBM才知道怎么回事，问题是开机一试，键盘没反应，难道修机子不带调试的么。。。于是又寄回去，现在终于回来了，换了键盘，内存，planar card，anyway，算是正常了。

开学第四周了，开始忙了。TA一堆evolutionary东东，实验设计的不怎么严谨，可怜学生们面对数据真是无从下手，其实是他们怎么写都算对，但他们就是怕怎么写都算错。。。

Rotation还是没怎么入门呢，其实是没什么可做的。从实验室的postdoc找工作的经历看，工作不好找也不难找，之前未名空间biology版一直在全退，看看挺有意思也挺心寒的。

上课终于有点感觉了——听的云里雾里的，这才像graduate课的样儿嘛。发现penn有不少preceptorial course，全校学生抽签上，不只运气如何。

下了两场雪，冬天倒是杀了个回马枪。

现在就盼着3月初和4月底了。不过先得买机票，找房子~~

Every story has an ending, happy or not. So does the holiday. But the ending is also a start point. Here comes the new year 2007 and also new semester.

I should finish my travel diary to DisneyWorld and edit my photos and videos (about 3G) before my memory fades. 

Also I should write something about the first Church wedding I attended and get-together with some PKU friends.  

And now I have a good excuse for my idleness. My poor IBM laptop does not start well for 3-4 days and it gets worse and worse. I probably have to send it to IBM for repair and suffer a period of life without a laptop. Maybe this is not a bad thing at all, I can spend less time before the laptop and do something more meaningful. However, I guess the result might be that I will spend more time before a desktop

I went to my rotation lab today and felt very strange. It is really a small lab, 4-5 people. Messy, unusually. I wish I had not made a wrong decision. Anyway it is only a rotation and I think I have fairly good chance to do lots of new things independently. Just wait and see.

It is not really a good start of a year but then I can hope everything will get better.
